My shirt design was featured on TheYetee on the 30th of September to the 1st 2015My second design ever to make it to a daily website! I love TheYetee!
Friends of Mineral town is my all time favourite Harvest Moon game I've played so many over the years but none can capture the fun and nostalgia of FoMT ^^

Need it on a shirt? I GOT YOU COVERED:
Teepublic NeatoShop Redbubble
Second Shirt Design of yours I bought as it seems!
(First one is great btw, had a really nice quality print!)
That really does mean a lot
TheYetee is really lovely to artists, you get 3 free shirts with every successful sale and when I got the Fire Emblem one i was so impressed with the print quality. I'm hoping it turns out just as well!
And yes, they really do have a great quality.
I have a.... rather huge
So I'm happy whenever a design comes up that I like, so I can add another "perfect fit" shirt into my collection lol ^^
...and heck, when do you have the chance to get a Harvest Moon Shirt? XD
I have a huge collection from different websites, mostly Qwertee I'm wearing a gorgeous pokemon one from Yetee right now! :3
I have way too much Shirts by this point to be honest.
I intend to use the ones I'm not wearing that often anymore and turn them into blankets, but.... I just don't have the time to actually sew... :/
But yeah. Today I wore a Zelda Sweater from Qwertee, the day before I wore a Zelda-Doctor Who Crossover Longshirt from Shirt Punch and every day these sites shove new, interesting shirts into my face... aaaah XD
Halftones are magical - I used a line halftone instead of the dots and it really works well
I love HM so much, especially BTN, just like most of people, I think.
Yeah I've got A New Beginning on 3DS and I quite like it There's also a 3DS version of Two Towns but I heard that version is buggy - I have the DS version of it
3DS is such a good purchase, so many games
Good side of this game is that that I can take it to university and play there ^^ I also played Grant Bazaar on DS, but I never liked that game too much, also Wii games are not my favourites.
Can't wait, especially after the disappointment that was "Harvest Moon" Lost Valley...
From what I've read, Natsume went under and Story of Seasons was made by former Harvest Moon employees
But when Natsume managed to pull itself out of bankruptcy - they still retained the Harvest Moon copyright name, so Lost Valley was made and it was quite different.
I dont know if thats true though
I usually go to fogu.com when I want some help/advice/information about Harvest Moon Games I'm currently playing, and they state it like this:
Back in 1996, a company named Victor Interactive Software (VIS) published a farming simulation game called Bokujou Monogatari. The company then teamed up with a North American video game publisher, Natsume Inc., to release the game in English. Natsume localized the game in 1997 as Harvest Moon.
Since that time, the Bokumono game would be released in Japan, localized by Natsume, and then released in North America as Harvest Moon. During this time, the original VIS merged with another company, Marvelous Interactive, who then merged with another company to become Marvelous Entertainment, then Marvelous AQL, and is currently known as simply Marvelous. Through the multitude of company mergers, Marvelous eventually acquired a company named XSeed Games, which it began to use to localize Marvelous' Japan-published games.
When its latest Bokumono game was published, Marvelous opted to use its existing localization subsidiary to manage the English release of its game instead of working with its long-term partner, Natsume Inc. Because the title Harvest Moon was created by, marketed, and owned by Natsume, Marvelous could not simply name their game "Harvest Moon" as it had been the case in the past. The company selected "Story of Seasons" as the title for its now self-published series. This allows Natsume to continue to use its "Harvest Moon" property to create a parallel series, which it did with Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley.
Now we have two farming lifestyle games: the older Bokujou Monogatari series now called Story of Seasons, and the newer farming series now called Harvest Moon.
And I think it's rather obvious when you're playing that Natsume did the game without all the rights to the franchise.
Basically, what they could keep where the general idea (go out and farm), the Harvest Goddess and her Sprites (surprisingly...) and the general art style.
All the mechanics had to be changed. No village, the farm is designed differently, no selling box, no tool upgrading, marriage system was changed (no hearts/flowers/color coding, no gifts, ...), basically everything that built the basis of Harvest Moon and made it differently from any other farming sim had to be changed or adjusted.
....and sadly, most of these changes were for the worse... :/
I mean, the cultivation of different plants out of the same crops is a genius idea! But the constant change in the soil makes it unnecessary hard (getting dry soil during a rather rainy season is WAY to random) and the lack of proper tools makes it way to time consuming to keep track of your plants. I play Harvest Moon to, well, farm. In Tale of two Towns I didn't had to think hard on which village I choose! (Konoha all the way XD)
But if the whole game play consists out "Oh please rain next day!", "Have to hurry, no time to loose, have to water my crooooops!" and "dammit, 4am already, and I couldn't even take care of my story quests!!!!" - fun is hard to have... :/
Thanks for this
I also chose Konohona too I didn't even hesitate - a Japanese style farm is so good My friend chose Bluebell and I did like the amount of animals you get such as the Alpacas :3 Yeah I feel like with every HM game they try to add different changes and sometimes they're good but sometimes they're bad
It kinda bugged me :/
I mean, I chose my wife out of the Konohana Locals (Nori) and wanted to stay truthful to the town... :/
Though I haven't actually played until the marriage yet.
At some point, I feel exhausted by a Harvest Moon game and usually take a break and rarely get back to it later on XD
So far, my favorite still is Friends of Mineral Town though... that one just felt rounded and complete ^.^
